Learn, experience, care and protect.
Our wide range of projects means that volunteers can access training on a variety of subjects including invasive species removal, lidar portal training, seed identification and tree nursery maintenance, meadow creation and maintenance, as well as Chough counting and monitoring, and oral history/interview training. Through sharing knowledge, when the scheme comes to an end, local communities will have the skills to continue looking after this landscape.
The Carneddau Landscape Partnership offered a 12 month apprenticeship over 3 years for individuals to learn about environmental and heritage conservation with hands on experience. This included the opportunity to work alongside many of our partner organisations, including gaining a Level 2 Environmental Conservation qualification with Coleg Cambria.
The applications for the apprenticeships are now closed after the success of our three apprentices; Eleri, Sophie and Thomas.
