Who are we?

The Carneddau Landscape Partnership is formed of over 20 local organisations that are working together to help conserve the natural and cultural heritage of the Carneddau mountains and valleys, located at the most Northern end of Eryri National Park.

The scheme is funded by the National Heritage Lottery Fund and is hosted by the Snowdonia National Park Authority.

Aims of the scheme:

  • Promote sustainable land use practices.
  • Protect and restore rare habitats, wildlife, nationally important archaeological remains and distinctive landscape features.
  • Record and celebrate local traditions, stories, and place names.
  • Work with local communities to discover, record, conserve and celebrate the Carneddau through events, activities, training, new information and better access.
