Each of the communities around the Carneddau has a different, but connected, history. You do not have to look far to find tales of preachers, poets and princes. But you do have to delve a bit deeper to find stories about successful businesswomen, prominent suffragettes and philanthropic females who were the backbones of their communities – but those stories too, exist.
